Every adoption represents hope — a family willing to step forward and provide a child with love, belonging, and stability. But adoption does not end at finalization. Many adoptive families encounter significant challenges rooted in trauma, identity, loss, and behavior. Too often, these families struggle in isolation because Alabama lacks a coordinated, trauma-informed post-adoption support system. ​ AdoptStrong Alabama fills this gap. Built and led by Adoption Rocks, this initiative launches as a Mobile County pilot with a structured plan for statewide replication. AdoptStrong Alabama creates a seamless continuum of adoption awareness, trauma-informed caregiver training, and post-adoption support navigation—ensuring families have what they need to maintain stability for the long haul.
